Day 2 of The 31 Day Challenge

Day 2 :D
Ok, so let the orange-y-ness commence!! If you've seen a lot of orange around its because of the 31 day challenge!! I was really lazy and didn't want to do it, but I saw all the orange and remembered my orange holo I hadn't tried out yet.

It doesn't look so holo-y :( But when its a dollar polish, I guess you can't expect it to be, lol.

What I used:

Kleancolor Holo Orange

I'm keeping it short tonight, I have some pumpkin paper mache-ing to do.

Patriotic Nails

Hey again,

Wow, 2 posts in one day!! Yay!! Lol, Ok, So since its Monday and usually those are reserved for MSMD type things, I thought I wanted to give it a go the American Flag (Since everyone's doing it) :D I'm usually not the flag type because I mess them up horribly, this mani being no exception :P

I thought I would try it because I actually had some star shaped glitter things, and I had a silver glitter polish and mostly because I was really excited to try out my Julep America polish.

I might try just the Julep later on, its actually a very lovely glitter. A bit chunky but I might try to thin it out and see if that helps. Other than that, I love it.

Essie (I dont know the name, the sticker fell off. But its a beautiful jelly red)

I found my holo's!! I don't know how good they'll be but I'm super excited!! I also got a lot of other goodies.

I forgot to take a picture of one :( 31 Silver Star Its exactly what it sounds like its silver stars with sliver glitters. 

Also I bought some rhinestones and decals :D

The best deal all day micro-beads!! I paid $1.50 for them!! I paid $2 for the rhinestones.

Yay!! 3D stickers!! Lace, flowers and totally beautiful!

Many different glitters, stars and micro-beads :) I took these out of their packages to take pictures. 

I can't wait to try them all. Stay tuned and I'll swatch them :D

Ice Cream Mani

Good Morning :D
Do I have a treat for you guys!! I scream you scream we all scream for Ice Cream!!!!
I went to Claire's and found the cutest earrings ever. Ice Creams, Donuts, Cupcakes, Popsicle, Pop-tarts, Cotton Candy, Fudgesicles, and Sno-Cones!
So for the first time in a while It was warm in Chicago (yesterday) :D So I wore my Ice Cream earrings and decided to do my nails in the same fashion, Oh yea!! So without further delay, Ice Cream Bowl Mani's. (My nails weren't pointy or long enough to do cones, lol)

 The Earrings!! 

I'm so excited about my nails, I used my Konad stamp for the cones, mostly because I'm really bad at drawing straight lines, so I'm glad I remembered that I had that pattern on a stamp, saved me a big headache.

Also I'm happy with the end result of the cones color, I had to mix colors and usually they end up looking cloudy/muddy and ugly. So that's a plus.

The Cherries are pearls that I bought at Hobby Lobby, I Just slapped some red polish on them :)


Polishes I used for this Mani:
The Cone Base KleanColor Cappuccino + Finger Nails Paper Mache
The Dark Brown on the cone is KleanColor Dark Brown
The Ice Cream brown is the KleanColor Cappuccino by itself
The green is Revlon Minted
The yellow is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow. 
And the pink is Fresh Paint High Voltage 
I also used Essie Matte About You on top of the cones to make it look realistic.
