Here is my latest tutorial.
Its pretty self explanatory. Its just a lot of dots and a lot of layers of dots.
Tools you need:
Dotting tools (all sizes)
Base Coat
6 different colors (Blue, Green, Dark Red, Red, Black, Yellow)
Top Coat
Step 1: Base Coat and Base Color
Step 2. Add a bit of green close to your cuticle. Hump shape.
Step 3. Add stems
Step 4. Dark red (big) petals.
Step 5. Red dot petals
Step 6. Add a black dot to the middle of the flower
Step 7. Add a little yellow dot to the middle of the flower.
Step 8. Add a little leaf to each flower.
Step 9 Add green to the little buds
Step 10, Finish with Top Coat.
Ok, I think that's it. You can modify this to your liking, this is just how I thought would be easy. I made some fingers only have one giant poppy and that looked cute too.

Poppy Fields
So I was looking through my many packets of flower seeds, and I ran into my Oriental Poppy's and instantly I wanted them on my nails. I've been wanting to do more floral patterns, not just the rose. So I figured this would be the perfect opportunity. Also I want to add that right in the middle of my first finger I saw a giant white ugly spider on the screen and instantly flipped out. My right hand looks way better but I did not in any way stick to my mock up plan. I rushed through it, I didn't want to be near the computer any longer!! Oh that reminds me, I made another tutorial, but first the pictures of the mani.
I think the thumb came out beautifully. The rest of the fingers on the left hand remind of a lot of the Super Mario games, lol. I'll post the pictures of the right hand later on in the day. I really need to work on getting a new camera. My phone isn't cutting it at all. After this I'll share the tutorial. :)
For this Mani I used:
Blue base is China Glaze For Audrey, the Green is China Glaze Tree Hugger, the dark red in the poppy is Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miricle Divine Wine the Lighter red is Essie (I still can't remember the name of it) the Black is Finger Paints Black Expressionism The Yellow is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow The Gray in the cloud is Pure Ice Kiss Me Here and the White is Finger Paints Paper Mache.

Pink Roses Leopard Polka Dot Lightning Bolt Nails..
Hii :)
I did these last night, I kind of borrowed the idea from Chalkboard Nails. I also wanted to give the roses another try and I simply cannot pass up the opportunity to do leopard print. So I took the advice of my Photoshop tutorial, and I think the roses turned out pretty good. I'm sure the more I practice the roses the better I'll get.
Maybe I should have done something with the middle finger. Its ok, I bought 6 new nail polishes today I'm sure I'll do something different tonight, although I'm really enjoying all the funky designs.
Also, I think Its time for a new camera. Maybe for my birthday I'll get a nice Canon :D I hate using my phone but it'll have to do. My Kodak took its last picture last winter during a blizzard. I just had to go outside and take pictures. So I put it off, I was kind of mad at myself for being so careless. But its time to move on :)
What I used:
Pink is Pure Ice - Creme Flirt Alert, the Nude inside the roses and leopard and the lightning bolt is Essie - Mambo, the Black I use is Finger Paints - Black Expressionism. Top Coat - Essie Shine-E. I couldn't find my base coat so I went without :(

Vintage Black Roses
Good Morning,
So I was thinking to myself, what inspires me?
Being late night again, I hit a wall. Then I started to think back to my younger days.
Last weekend me and my friend were shopping, and we bought a lot of nail polish and a lot of clothes. We were looking through hundreds of colors at Ulta and at Sally Beauty. We were discussing hues of pinks and natural naked colors. Its funny back in high school we were into the Gothic/Lolita scene. So those pink and bright colors would be a no go. We have become a bit more sophisticated in certain things but some things are the same, maybe buried a bit, but there. So without further ado my Gothic Black Roses, Semi Sophisticated Pearly-Glittery Mani. Mouthful huh?
So my fiance coulnd't tell, and maybe you cant either, but those black purple things on the ring finger are the black roses.
Polishes I used. The purple glitter is Finger Paints Purple Palette The red is Essie (I would know but my fiance ripped off the name sticker) The black in the Roses is Finger Paints Black Expressionism and the purple on the inside is a mixture of Funky Fingers Cheshire and Finger Paints Paper Mache (white) The thumb has little white pearls that I found at Hobby Lobby, I think they're for scrap booking but they were halved and flat so they were perfect for manicures, the white stripes are Manicure tape I bought on Amazon in a 10 pack for a few bucks :D

Nail Art from the Past
So I gathered all my favorite pictures of previous nail art :) Let the show begin.
Black and silver Bundle Monster dots.
Black and silver Bundle Monster dots.
I love this blue, its by Sula its a Paint and Peel.
These were inspired by my dog, CuppyCake :D I believe I did these around my birthday last year.
French multi colored leopard I loved these!
Fimo fruit. I had to file them down a bit just to get them to stay kind of low on the nail. I was working at a clinic around the time I did these, so I used about 5 maybe more layers of top coat. I didn't want the fruit to be dirty and spread diseases around ( I worked with blood) I took them off after a day :( Just because I didn't want to be gross.Although the girl I worked with had pretty long nails, not for me. The medical field is not meant for long and cluttered high nails.
Gold Glitter Leopard!!!
Two tone nails. I used Finger Paints 'Art You Wondering?' (green) and Finger Paints 'Laugh My Art Off' (Blue) It ended up looking like the ocean. Two layers of both.
I used the Finger Paints 'Art you wondering' and 2 layers of Seche Vite Top Coat
Again plus a gray tip
Halloween themed. I used the Bundle Monster Stamps. They turned out lovely.
Frankenstein Nails
Did these on around Valentines Day
I used lace fabric I had laying around. and 2 layers of Seche Vite top coat.
This is a crappy picture. The pink is by Hard Candy. The Stars are stamps from Bundle Monster set.
I love these, I did theseApril 2011. It had been raining a lot and I decided my nails should match the weather.
Summer 2011. I wanted to be one with water, and a boat captain that day. Next best thing? Nautical Nails. I shall try these again soon. Summer is coming. I might want to be one with water again. Lol.
Ok, I know I have more somewhere.Even If I don't find them I'll be here brainstorming.
Thinking of new idea's. Let the creativity begin :D

Fishtail and Zebra Mani
So I did 2 different mani's tonight. I'm still not satisfied with either :( It was the combination of being sleepy, lack of creativity and watching TV while doing my nails.
Side note: I must start taking my vitamins again. My nails have been growing slowly and odd shaped, its time to take care of them again. Spring is here (supposedly) I want pretty colorful nails!!
So I did a fish tail mani which I believe with a bit of practice will come out nicely :)
I didn't care for the yellow, it took the attention of the green hues. So I started over.
Then I decided to try out my new Konad image plate. I think next time I want to try black and white. I will do another mani later on today. Maybe an Earth Day theme.

First Post :)
I've debated for a while to blog about all things nail. I officially started collecting nail polishes a bit over a year ago, and I have a pretty good collection. I have around 50+ pictures of mani's I have done in the past year, I wanted to share them here, and maybe one day I will, but for now lets start fresh. I'm still trying to figure out what design will be my first :) I'll be back with freshly painted nails.
